Prayer Flag Necklace - Sterling & Kingman Turquoise

Prayer flag necklace crafted with six gorgeous Kingman turquoise cabs, strung across a super strong and weighty sterling silver rolo chain

These turquoise prayer flags have been a favorite layering necklace of mine for over 10 years.

Here's my original 2010 prayer flag description via Etsy, for grins:

I have quite a few Tibetan prayer flags strung around my house, having always admired Buddhism and the prayer flag tradition. I was inspired to make a prayer flag necklace as a sort of talisman for myself after a dear friend had my child's name placed on a prayer flag through the Love Hope Strength Foundation. (My sweet kiddo was diagnosed with stage IVb lymphoma at 8yo in 2009 and is currently in remission). LHS prayer flags are carried around the world every year and displayed to honor of those who have fought cancer. There's a flag out there somewhere, maybe at the top of Mt Everest, with my baby's name on it. A beautiful tribute. A percentage of prayer flag sales will go to LHS indefinitely.

"Traditionally, prayer flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. The flags do not carry prayers to ‘gods,’ a common misconception, rather the Tibetans believe the prayers and mantras will be blown by the wind to spread the good will and compassion into all pervading space. Therefore, prayer flags are thought to bring benefit to all."

Sterling, brass and copper prayer flags also available.
